Co Op Community Fund

Financial assistance is available to groups and organisations throughout the UK who want to help improve the lives of others.

The Co-op Group provides the Community Fund (Community Dividend) for projects carried out by Co-op member groups and organisations that will benefit local people and support the values and principles of the Co-op Group.

 Applicants must be: Community groups. Self-help groups. Voluntary groups. Community charities (or local branches of national charities).

Funding Priorities:

Projects must:

 

Benefit a local community in which at least one Co-operative Group business trades in.

 

Meet one of the three charitable purposes of the fund, which include: Relieving Poverty - projects that aim to improve conditions for those less fortunate.

 

Improving Education - projects that provide education in the community.

 

Other purposes benefiting the community - such as projects to benefit the environment, heritage or promote racial harmony.

 

Be in line with the Co-op's values and principles.
